Coarse Gravel (9.5-19)
Gravel is a name said to particles smaller than pebbles and bigger than sand. It is usually found on the seashore and the river sides easily. In civil engineering, according to the ASTM classification, gravel is particles smaller than 75mm and bigger than 4.75mm. According to the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS), gravel is divided into two groups of fine and coarse gravel.
It should be noted that the grading of coarse gravel produced at the Zarrin Shen plant is according to two categories of the ISIRI 302. Currently, grading range of coarse gravel is 9.5 to 20mm, and it has good quality for high quality concrete constructions.
